Grub
Now, we're getting to the important stuff- what grub to expect and what to bring from home.
All of your main meals (including crockery and cutlery) will be provided with the aim of giving you the energy needed to complete the Office Solutions IT Pipeline Challenge. Examples of what to expect each day includes:
Breakfast: A selection of cereals, muesli, toast, spreads, yoghurt and fruit.
Lunch: A wrap, muffin and piece of fruit.
Dinner: A buffet spread containing pasta, meat, potato bake, bread rolls and salad.
Snacks: Energy bar, fruit.
Drinks: Juice, tea and instant coffee will be available at breakfast. Water (non-filtered) and sports drinks will also be available for you to top up your drink bottle at the start of each day. As there are no water stops between campsites (except for soloists) you will need to carry sufficient hydration for the team in your support vehicle.
If you have any dietary requirements be sure to mention them during the registration process so we can do our best to accommodate you. Also feel free to bring along any supplementary food and drinks that you may want throughout the day. Optional extras you may like to consider bringing yourself are:
• Biscuits
• Dried fruit
• Lollies / Chocolate
• Nuts
• Protein powder
• Sports gels
• After ride, pre-dinner snacks: crisps, cheese & crackers etc.
• A few celebratory (and well deserved) tinnies to crack open when you get into camp, or a nice bottle of red to enjoy over dinner. Just remember you've got to get back in the saddle early the next day!
