The Nest is a Youth Futures program built for young parents and their children - people navigating pregnancy, birth, or early parenthood while facing homelessness, family breakdown, or having nowhere safe to go. It’s not a shelter and it’s not a quick fix. It’s a team that turns up and stays.

Homelessness doesn't just mean sleeping on the streets. For many young families, it’s a cycle of instability, couch-surfing, and living in unsafe environments.

At The Nest, young parents receive more than just a roof over their heads. The Nest Program offers a safe haven, breaking this cycle and providing a foundation for a brighter future.

Wherever they’re at, young parents and their children, who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness are treated with respect and given the support they need to work towards stability through The Nest Program.

Who are Youth Futures?

Across Western Australia, young people are experiencing homelessness, facing barriers to education or going through hardship. For more than 40 years, Youth Futures has walked alongside them.

Each year, Youth Futures supports more than 3,000 young people through education, accommodation and support services and emergency relief.
